Code of Conduct

As a self-employed solo professional, I work with many different people and teams. Depending on the project, I collaborate with colleagues from various departments within video production, such as camera, sound, or lighting. What matters most to me in working with both colleagues and clients is a respectful, collaborative approach — especially during the often stressful phases of a production. I see it as part of my responsibility of care, both in my own work and as a mediator between clients and crew, to actively support physical and mental well-being. I take a clear stand against disrespectful behavior such as demeaning comments, intimidation, or unwanted physical contact.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

In both my personal and professional life, I firmly reject all forms of racism, sexism, ableism, discrimination, xenophobia, and physical or psychological violence. As a woman and a videographer, I am especially committed to promoting equality and equal opportunities. When building teams, I consciously collaborate with people regardless of their background, gender, religion, skin color, nationality, sexual orientation, ethnicity, or social background. I also actively work to keep my professional network as diverse as possible.

ECOLOGICAL RESPONSIBILITY

Sustainability is more important than ever — including in the world of film and video production. It is important to me to contribute through my own work as well. I travel to all jobs that require minimal equipment by bicycle or public transport. When I do need to use my car, I make sure to do so as efficiently and resource-consciously as possible. I avoid single-use plastics and do not eat meat.
